Watching episodes of storm chasers tonight reminded me of the times Allison and I would chase storms across the south plains for fun.
Off the top of my head I can not remember when this was taken, but from the photos around this it was a pretty good drive.
I think this was out in Hale county, but I am not 100% on that.

Normally when I try and take a picture of Allison she gives me her grumpy face. Look at other pictures on this site.
But somehow, in front of my Holga she warmed up a bit.
This was shot out at Palo Duro Canyon out in West Texas, during one of our photo adventures.
The film was never forgotten about and moved to San Antonio in the camera where it sat for, about three months.
Until I found it the other day and decided to drop it off at the lab.
Shot on Ilford xp 2.

Down in the West Texas town of El Paso, there is a little park built around a wetland.
This wetland is significant to me, because this was a project I had worked on when I lived in El Paso.
My 7th grade year, some friends in my scout troop and I decided to volunteer our time and effort to clean this wetland up, It has previously been dumping ground.
During high school I began the work needed to start my Eagle project, and had decided that this place would be the perfect spot for an Eagle Project.
However, I moved before I could ever get the project started.

Much prettier than the old dumping ground it used to be. The hill in the background is an Earth dam to keep the valley from flooding when it rains.

The botanical garden is really pretty, the people who built the park did a really nice job at it.

More info on Keystone Heritage park can be be found here.

ThisĀ building is just off the main street in Ballinger, Texas.
Kind of a cool looking building.
