New Year, New Project; I have decided for 2012 that I am going to shoot more film. I was trying to decide how to do this, and then I figured it out; a 52 week project to be precise.

Big Tree, located in Rockport, Texas is a mighty big tree. It is one of the oldest live oak trees in the world and has survived numerous storms and the civil war which destroyed the nearby town of Lamar.
In 1969 it was named the Texas State Champion Live Oak. Which honestly, who knew that was an award?

The much feared T-Rex. Found this guy in Glen Rose, Texas while on an outing with my friend Danielle. We went to Dinosaur Valley State Park, which is a really neat park. You can see foot prints in the ground.

Forgot to post this photo last night, this is from the walk along the Museum Reach.
Under this water, there is a dam, or what is left of it.
The Spanish put in this dam, and the people of San Antonio forgot about it.
Until they found it while working on the reach.
The lights in the water mark where the dam was at, so they are not part of the neat Christmas display.
