Went on an adventure today to the mission trail on the other side of San Antonio.
This is San Jose, a very pretty mission. I was trying to figure out the best path to ride my bike between all of the missions, however decided against the ride today because it was hot.
From what I could tell the road was the only path between the missions, and since it was really hot, I decided on a nice ride through the shade.

I like lizards, they are cool little creatures in my book.

Today a little adventure took me near China Grove in search of sea food. Bill Miller has a restaurant near there called Laguna Madre, and for some reason the only one in town is over there.
This was the only adventure that ended in a success for the day. The sea food was tasty. Not as good as Sea Island, and it is a little far to drive for seafood.
On our way back we drove around, I am not really familiar with this side of San Antonio.
We spent a little bit of time in some of the cemetaries trying to find some relatives.
Sadly that quest ended in failure. Very pretty cemeteries down there; and I am sure there is a directory somewhere to help people find relatives that have been buried throughout the years.
We drove around a bit further and passed by this old church called St. Gerard. This is part of an old catholic school in San Antonio.
