Today I saw announced on Twitter than a pinhole camera app was added to the iTunes app store.

I decided to give it a try and see if it is worth playing with. This is the only camera app I have seen that allows for double exposures. While it can only mimic a pinhole camera it is pretty cool, and with three different film options you can have a little bit of fun with it.

Some features I hope they add are:

  • More film options
  • flash
  • a way to randomly pick the film and flash combo

An example of these features can be seen in the Hipstamatic app.

Day 103: finished product

Finished the pinhole camera tonight, this is what the finished product looks like.

Fun project. Can not wait for April 25th to shoot with it.

Day 102: pinhole

Built my first Pinhole camera tonight.

Took several hours, but the camera is built.

Can not wait to throw a roll of film in this and get to shooting.
