Continue ReadingLast night before I went to bed I did a Flickr search to find something neat for my photo of the day.
Lots of photos I found out near my aunt and uncles house centered around Lake Travis, and an area called Hippie Hollow.
The input in me decided this would be the place to visit since it is the only nude beach in Texas.
I got there around 8:30 this morning, and it was around 50 degrees outside. No one was there.
I guess nudists do not like the cold as much as I do.
Still, I can check one more thing of my list of things I have always wanted to see.

Continue ReadingI drove downtown, to get my bearings on where I am going in Austin.
I was trying to figure this out yesterday, but I think the last time I was in Austin, I was a senior in High School and we came for the state One Act Play. We lost, but it was a ton of fun.
So I drove around downtown, got lost a few times; scoped out the best place to park and how much it would cost.
I grabbed my camera, and just started wandering around trying to find what my photo of the day would be.
I walked around the Capitol building a few times trying to find an angle on the building I have not scene before.
Everyone shoots the inside of the tower of the building, and that is understandable because it is very pretty inside.
I shot this while I was heading into downtown to find some lunch, and I am a little pleased with it.
