I once heard at the Lubbock Airport bar that if you “wear out a pair of shoes in Lubbock, you are stuck here forever.”

I have always figured this would be true, I mean, there is a piece of the Blarney Stone in Lubbock.

So there is a little truth that things can get stuck here.
