Big Tree, located in Rockport, Texas is a mighty big tree. It is one of the oldest live oak trees in the world and has survived numerous storms and the civil war which destroyed the nearby town of Lamar.

In 1969 it was named the Texas State Champion Live Oak. Which honestly, who knew that was an award?

This was shot at the Sister Creek Vinyards, in Sisterdale TX, and the building is an old gin.

Shot this while visiting Danielle. This is the Granbury Courthouse, currently under renovation. A very pretty building.

The much feared T-Rex. Found this guy in Glen Rose, Texas while on an outing with my friend Danielle. We went to Dinosaur Valley State Park, which is a really neat park. You can see foot prints in the ground.

This weeks photo challenge is Dinosaurs. After several failures on Polaroid film, I broke down and went digital.
