I am never awake early enough to see dew drops on flowers, but I love seeing pictures of dew covered flowers and leaves.
How could I pass up an opportunity while strolling through the rainforest to hunt for some flowers and get a shot of rain on the flowers.
I know nothing about plants, just that they are pretty so I have no idea what these are sadly. But the cover the floor of the forest on Oahu.

This little guy, is a Green Sea Turtle, and is native to Hawaii. I found him while snorkeling and decided to follow him around for a little while to see what he was up to.
I tried to keep my distance, but this animal was really curious about me and kept trying to swim closer. I think it is because people feed them, which is illegal to do.

After a brief hike up Waimea Valley on the island of Oahu you come upon this really amazing waterfall.
The clouds above the waterfall is a rainstorm that came in quickly. I hoped for a rainbow, begged for a rainbow. But it wasn’t going to happen.
Still an amazing place.

Wow, look at that I am writing a post and it is about my recent trip.
So let’s get started, first we landed in Los Angeles and we rented a car to drive up Highway 1. Through the fog in in the distance, you see a mountain that is split at an odd place. That is Highway 1, or well part of it. This is actually one of the more famous spots because it is used by every car company at least once for a commercial.
So we drove up Highway 1, and would pull over occasionally for me to take pictures. Honestly, we were trying to escape the fog that covered everything.

The fog stuck around all day, but there where some impressive things to see along the drive.
We even got to see some people paddle boarding, it was kind of cold outside, and the water was cold. But that did not stop them.

We pulled into Santa Barbara and drove up onto this warf to eat at a restaurant called The Harbor, the food was very tasty. After we ate I went for a stroll farther down the warf.

Down at the very end of the warf there where people fishing, and the Pelicans would get pretty close to the people around them. Kind of surprised me to see these massive birds that are not afraid of other people.

After all that, we drove back to Los Angeles and headed over to the Getty Museum. This is easily one of the best art Museums I have ever been to, but the best thing was the garden which was full of really pretty flowers.

Still editing photos from a recent trip to Hawaii. It was an amazing trip to celebrate my 27th birthday and visit my sister.
This is the view from one of the beaches we visited a lot of called Ko Olina, which is a little resort community on the island of Oahu. We went here to swim in the lagoons which are pretty nicely sheltered from the ocean.
This photo in particular was shot right before theĀ Lu‘au we attended right as the sun was setting.
I have a ton more pictures to share from the trip, and I am still editing them down. Also, I have 4 rolls of film to get processed.
I am still trying to get my wake sleep schedule back on track. As proof of this, I am writing this at 4 in the morning. I have work in a few hours but can not seem to get sleep.
Once I get back onto a normal schedule of sleep, I will start posting pictures.
