Day 49: Let it burn
I decided that today after work I would go for a walk and shoot with one of my film cameras. This creates a small problem because it is kind of hard to shoot, process and scan film all in one day.
This shot was taken at Ohanas today at lunch. I bet a friend of mine a lunch that the Saints would win the Super Bowl. It is a little late to have a victory lunch, but I got it today. The Chef came out and lit the hibachi on fire. This is something I have always wanted to shoot with my SLR, but I left it at home today. Still, I am pleased with how the Saints did, Who dat? -
Day 48: Rockin’ out in the office
This is Josh.
Josh decided to bring his new guitar to work today and play it in my office. I asked him to play some finish death metal. He played Nirvana. Not the same. Not at all. -
Day 47
Tonight I decided to play with my new flash.
I figured I needed a model, but since I did not have one; I thought Lilly would do the trick.
Thinking a five month old puppy would have the ability to be a model when she does not even know the commands Sit or Stay was a really bad decision.
After several attempts to be eye level with her, I gave up, but I think I got 2 ok shots of her. The first makes her look so sweet and innocent, while the second makes her look kind of fierce.

Day 46
Last night, my roommate and I watched the movie Rain Man.
There is a scene, early in the movie where Dustin Hoffman is sitting behind the wheel of the car taking pictures with a camera.
I suddenly realized that the camera that he is using, was sitting on my bookshelf.
I picked up this little camera for $2.50 at a store in Slaton, Texas.
It has a roll of film in it, so I bought it, just for fun, and if it still works; maybe there are some old shots on the film that are cool, if I can ever get it developed.

Day 45
This is my roommate Lindzi, and her big smile after getting a brand new MacBook.
Earlier today, the puppy Lilly knocked her laptop off of the bed and broke the screen.
This prompted Lindzi to get her new toy; and new rules concerning the puppy and how she will behave.
