This week I went a little crazy and decided to cut up a roll of 12o film to try and shove into my Argus 75. To do this I cut the beveling off the sprocket; which unfortunately exposed part of the roll to light, and I think ruined some of my best shots.

The rest of the roll was slightly overexposed; I think this is also due to my film surgery. I was able to salvage it by turning the shot into a black and white after scanning it; thanks to the excellent advice of mgagle.

You should follow him on Twitter and check out his work.

I think that in the future I am going to get a changing bag for this delicate procedure and mount the film onto an empty 620 spool to shoot with, when I finish the roll I will simply roll it back onto the 120 spool all in the safety of the bag.

I went through a few more of my pictures from my Disderi Robot Cameras, and found a few more from my bike ride that I really liked. Also there are some shots of my New Years Trip to Austin. I have some older shots on the camera, because it sat in my bag for about a year; however a lot of them where under exposed; which is odd for 400 ISO.

Up above is a church near San Antonio College, which sits at the top of a very steep hill.

Here are some of the shots that I liked:

Some mispelled graffiti, how can you not be a fan?

This shot I did not even know existed. Apparently I decided to bug my friend Jacie with this little camera while I was in Austin.

The Rotunda at the Texas State Capitol. Not sure how I missed this last night. I really like this.

And of course to finish off the roll, here is my awesome bike while I was taking a little break.

This weeks shot is from a test shot. I have had this camera riding around in my bag for about a year now; loaded with film but never used. It is the Disderi Robot Camera, I have the little one with the 2 eyes and the mouth. I picked it up on Ebay one day because I thought it was neat; however I was confused on how to shoot with it.

What could I possibly do with 3 lenses that all shoot at about the same time.

So on my bike ride last Saturday I decided to give it a spin and see what I can get.

I like the above shot. It is neat. It is different. This is not an everyday camera I think. Could be neat to have for street photography, but since I do not do much of that, back on the shelf it will live for a little while longer.

I love the glow around the building in this shot. The sun was up and bright, so I turned the ISO wheel to 800 to trick the LC-A into a faster shutter speed. I also really love the pretty blues this film has.

I have 4 rolls of Lomography C-41 left, before I have to order more.

Saturday I went on a bike ride and took a long my new best friend, the Lomo LC-A+.

What a neat little camera. Yesterday I got a little excited and posted the first photo from the roll that really got me interested, but there are some other good ones on their that could not wait.

So now on to another great pictures from that little photo ride. Above is the chapel at University of the Incarnate Word, here in San Antonio. This was my final destination on the ride, before I decided to head back.

I love how dark blue the sky is in this shot. I have more shots to share, but I think I will hold on to them for a little while longer.

Shot with a Lomo LC-A+ on Lomography 35mm film.

I am still going through my photos from my brand new LC-A+, but I think this is my favorite.

I shot this after my bike ride, while I was sitting there drinking a nice strawberry lemonade at the Culinary Institute of America bakery which is located at the Perl Brewery.

I really like this shot, because it makes me think it is not San Antonio. I overexposed the sky a little bit, I am still trying to figure out how the LC-A works. It is fully automatic, however there is a little dial that lets me change the ISO which can trick the light meter into the exposure I want.

It is a surprisingly advanced camera considering it is a lomo camera.

I am still going through the other shots from the bike ride, but I think I am going to like this camera a lot.

Shot on Lomo LC-A+ with lomographic C-41 film.

Every year Jim Goldstein does a post on his favorite photos of the year, but then invites other photographers to send him a link of their favorites, so we can all see what other photographers favorites are.

So here are my favorites from 2011, I tried to select only film photos, because that is my focus on 2012, shooting more film.

These are some of my favorite pictures, because I enjoyed playing around with my camera while I was shooting; and I was always so excited to see the results. I just couldn’t wait to get my film back.

Up above is the waterfall at Waimea Valley on the island of Oahu.

The Emily Morgan Hotel, shot with my Lomo Fisheye.

Aztec Theatre in downtown San Antonio. Shot with a Holga.

Grandburry County Courthouse, shot with a Holga.

T-rex out at Dinosaur State Park, shot with a Holga.

Denam Estate Park, San Antonio TX. Shot with the Diana Multi Pinhole.

And Last we have my first attempt at underwater photography. This is a little sea turtle at Ko Olina in Hawaii.

While I did not shoot a ton of film in 2011, I did notice that I enjoyed shooting film a lot, and some of the photos I was most excited about seeing during the year were all shot on film.

Now to get into full swing with 2012.
