Manage all website advertising, including specialty sites, and Update site content and produce media ads. Prepare weekly billing reports. Liaise with clients, respond to questions, and resolve issues. Communicate with sales team and deliver updated information regarding advertising availability and specifications. Review reports to verify advertising response meets benchmarks. Facilitate weekly meetings with accounting to ensure correct billing for all advertising placed. Photograph, film, and produce videos of various local and sporting events for online and print production.

Created and implemented advertising workflow from receipt through design and billing to ensure accuracy.

Produced podcasts, filmed events, and produced video segments for online newspaper edition. Assigned stories to videographers and staff. Updated content on website. Developed daily multimedia budget. Led daily meetings to select stories for online and print editions, as well as multimedia elements for web stories.

Improved workflow by creating assignment sheet to allow reporters to request videographers.

Developed and implemented “Photos of the Week” slideshow for Website.

Designed and launched Website for special section on Iraq soldier casualties.

Utilized Web bugs and skyboxes to tease multimedia elements in print edition.

Volunteer PBS KTXT-TV March 2005 – December 2006

Served as Floor Director for season-long “StoryTellers and MusicMakers” PBS program; tracked time-code and cameras and oversaw sound checks. Operated cameras during live television programs and pledge drives.

Received 2007 Silver Telly Award for “StoryTellers and MusicMakers.”

Served as Founder and President of Student Film and Multimedia club; collaborated with Advisor to coordinate events and workshops.

Developed and recorded podcast “Simon Says” as part of independent project; conducted interviews and handled production.
